2020 PPA Kayak Raffle

To enhance access to the Kankakee River, Potawatomi Paddlers Association has partnered with the Momence Park District to secure funding for the installation of a handicap accessible kayak launch. Based on estimates prepared by Cornerstone Engineering, we have set a budget of $35,000.00.

Installation of the accessible kayak launch will greatly assist all individuals to more fully enjoy the benefits of the Kankakee River.

Paddling is a low-impact activity that improves cardiovascular fitness; improves muscle strength in the back, arms, shoulder, and chest; increases torso and leg strength, and reduces the risk of wear-and-tear on joints and tissues.

Raffle tickets are priced at $10.00 each or 3 for $25.00.
